Hmmm, not too sure what to think about this book. I did enjoy it but up to a point, felt let down by the rushed ending? Everything was kind of just plodding along, with nothing much happening and then bam, everythings all resolved with a very unbelievable plan at the end. It didn't work for me that things occurred the way they did for Seven. It was like the author herself decided that she was bored with the book and just wanted it to end.

I also thought the gossip girl moments by the unknown narrator wasn't really needed as well. It didn't "fit" with the story and instead of making me want to know who it was, I just felt they were annoying and took me out of the story.

Its not Crazy Rich Asians which this book is compared to as I found CRA was way more enjoyable and had more heart. In CRA I actually wanted to know more about all the characters and was rooting for a lot of them, whereas in this book, I found the characters to be a bit one dimensional, flat and all shallow. Is it weird to say that I didn't "feel" any sparks at all between the love interests so couldn't have cared less if they got together or not.

Anyway all in all, it was an ok read.
